Fête des Lumières 2008

I just came back from the Lyon's Festival of Lights. This is my 4th year going to this festival.

For the ones who don’t know about this festival, I should make a small introduction. This festival is a Lyon tradition starting on the 8th of December every year and last’s for four days. The entire city is amazing decorated with light displays and every house lights up with candles at the windows. Lights and shapes dance on historic monuments in the old city.
The people are celebrating the city being saved from the Black Plague in 1643.

I’ll let the pictures give to you a view of the amazing lights.
